Part time work while studying and full time during vacations
 
As we all know, foreign education is a valuable gain in one's life and it gives a lot more in return than what   being   spent   on   it.   Most   students understand this but, still they have to figure out the   answer   of   how   possibly   they   could minimize the project cost of their foreign education   without   compromising      the quality? Well part time work is the answer.

International students normally have to budget for their books, accommodation, food, transportation and other miscellaneous expenses on the top of their tuition fees. Keeping these expenses in mind, officials of many countries allow students to work part time. The meaning of part time work is 20 hours per week during the academic year. International students are also allowed to work full time during the vacations like summer, Christmas and Easter. Often student gets paid double wages during vacations.

While working part time students mostly expects the jobs like Education jobs, Domestic Jobs, Short term or Seasonal work. Unskilled or manual labour, Professional Opportunities etc. These jobs start with national minimum wages of the respective country and normally are found to be supporting students in their cost of living. To apply, you must have scored 95 under the points-based system and to be accepted into the post-study worker category, you must pass a points-based assessment.

75 Points are awarded for what are called "Attributes", these are awarded as follows:


10 points are given for English language proficiency 10 points for the maintenance (funds) details.

Note: Singapore, Cyprus and certain others do not allow students working part time while studying.

Important: While studying international students also get short breaks which are given prior to the exams for the reading purpose. Students are expected to concentrate on their studies during these breaks and they are not supposed to work full time.
